The Mizuno Wave Inspire 20 is an excellent stability running or walking shoe. The first sensation in the Inspire 20 is great cushioning that feels stable and responsive. Mizuno uses a midsole foam called ENERZY, which features soft cushioning on impact, with great energy return at toe-off. Integrated into the rear-foot of the Wave Inspire 20 is the Mizuno Wave Plate, which in this case has pronation-stabilizing attributes, while also providing a noticeable amount of lateral stability if your feet tend to roll outwards.

The upper of the Mizuno Wave Inspire 20 uses lightweight and breathable air mesh. In the case of the Inspire 20, the mesh upper has several areas reinforced with subtle overlays, with a little extra around the medial mid-foot to help support your feet.

The fit of the Wave Inspire 20 is snug and secure in the rear-foot while also being very accommodating of medium to wide-ish foot shapes in the fore-foot.
